Things I Love: No Pudge Fudge Brownies

MMMM! There’s not a lot to say about these brownies, except that I LOVE THEM!! Yes, I love them more than life itself. Okay, maybe not that much, but they are pretty damn good.

I’ve known about them for a while, but I was always suspicious because the name was so diet-y. All you have to do is combine the mix with some non-fat vanilla yogurt and bake. Or, I prefer the single serving recipe which is to mix 1 tablespoon of vanilla yogurt with 2 tablespoons of No Pudge and microwave for 1 minute. I’ve mixed in walnuts, chocolate chips, peanut butter, coconut, dried cranberries, all with deeeelicious results. The options are endless – my next experiments will be bananas and Nutella. To me, it seems more like a gooey chocolate cake, than a brownie, but that might be because I always make the single serve version and eat it with a spoon instead of baked and eaten with your fingers like a brownie.

Oh and did I mention that a serving is like 120 calories and no fat? If you add in about 10 chocolate chips (which I highly recommend) it’s only about 30 calories and some fat more. Anyhoo, go try some. I get mine at Trader Joe’s. Apparently, they have other flavors, but I’ve only seen the original.
